Pamphlet providing information about the Adult Education Program from the Stamford Public Schools in 1947-1948. The pamphlet provides registration information and available courses.
Some interesting notes:
There is specific information for veterans and returning World War II soldiers about they ways their education is supported by the GI Bill.
Several course descriptions mention lingering shortages from WWII.
There was also a partnership with the Bridgeport Engineering Institute to provide the first and second year subjects of their 5-year engineering course to Stamford adults.
