Stamford Human Rights Commission Annual Report 1969-1970

The Stamford Human Rights Commission was a Municipal Agency created by a Stamford ordinance where the City of Stamford "may encourage and bring about mutual understanding and respect among all groups in the city, eliminate prejudice, intolerance, bigotry, discrimination... and give effect to the guarantee of equal rights for all assured by the Constitution and the laws of the State of Connecticut and of the United States of America."
Report presented to the mayor of Stamford, Julius Wilensky, from the Stamford Commission on Human Rights providing the summaries of their programs in 1969-1970. The report also contains an appraisal of the accomplishments and the critical analysis of where the Commission can most effectively dedicate its future efforts.
